Corporations, have typically gone in for one of two
solutions.
A.
Install network capability at
multiple locations.
B.
Out source to a Roaming
(Remote Access) Provider.
Both above scenarios, have failed to fulfill the
goals as intended.

'Provide Internet connectivity to all employees, to
enable them to stay connected with the Corporate VPN,
without compromising Security.'
A. Install
network capability at multiple locations
Organizations have invested huge amounts of money
and time to setup physical infrastructure to provide
their traveling staff with Internet capabilities.
The end
result being:
- Limited coverage,
normally restricted to locations where the
organization has a presence.
- Limited Internet
access, normally restricted to the Intranet.
- Annual maintenance
and up-gradation costs.

B. Out source
to a Roaming (Remote Access) Provider.
Organizations have out sourced their 'Remote Access' to
vendors, who require the organization to install
specialized Hardware and Software.
The
organization depends on the vendor to provide the
access, while they authenticate their own users using
the installed Hardware / Software. This is one of the
most insecure methods of providing VPN access.
Simply
put, when users dial into one of the vendors locations,
the users provide their Corporate Username / Password to
gain authentication. This information is routed to the
organizations server, via the vendors servers, which
keeps a record of the authentication data, for purpose
of billing.
This
violates all laws of maintaining Corporate secrecy, as
the vendor is in possession of the users Corporate
Username / Password.
The
MaGlobe architecture, allows the user to gain Internet
access using a 'Public' access information (MaGlobe
Username / Password) and then connect to the VPN using
'Private' access information (Corporate VPN Username /
Password). On connecting with the VPN, the link is
secured between the users terminal and the Corporate
servers (depending on the type of VPN solution being
